The Britrocks formed and played their first gigs in 2005.

They were formed out of the charity fundraising band ‘The Dirty Mack’ who played together a couple of times a year at large fundraising events from 1999 onwards.

Original members Jay Spargo (vocals, guitar, keys) and Adam Jowett (bass, vocals, guitar) were joined by Andy McVeigh (drums, vocals). They had all previously played together in the very sucessful Leeds based band Dirty Vinyl’s, who played many prestigious gigs and festivals across the UK as well as receiving radio airplay and major label interest.

The Britrocks quickly picked up a reputation for being a outstanding live band playing pubs, clubs, weddings, parties as well as larger outdoor charity events across the North of England.

The aim of The Britrocks is to get to crowd up and bouncing and despite playing some very tough crowds they have never met one they can’t get stomping.
Their insistence on using only the very best quality British Valve amps and highest quality instruments and PA gear, results in one of the very best rocking sounds you will ever hear. The set-list is also very wide and varied and can be tailored to specific audiences.

The Britrocks will always do their best to accommodate clients in anyway they can and will assure them of a friendly professional service.

The Britrocks are fully PAT tested and are fully insured for public liability.
